I will actually need to learn some new things with FL Studio before I can tackle this one; so called "gating" is not as easily done in FL as it was in MPT. But I have a few ideas on how to do it, either using straight out plugins, a little creative cutting of audio OR just sidechaining for the same effect. Got too many projects going on right now, but this is definitely in my sights :)

I do like to contend that limitations of your tools do help induce creativity. It's kind of what happened here, and it happened in the remake, too (the bit with the oboe!)

Interesting parallel there... but yes, I was going for a bit of a spook factor - instead of a planet inhabited by humans, it's a planet inhabited by intelligent machines because (or due to which) we went extinct, *that* sort of feel. Anyways, always happy to hear it was an enjoyable experience for others :D
